Review : Great sound.
I just got mine yesterday. While <$1K single-unit ipod docks probably never will sound the same as a well-placed $10000+ high-end stereo setup can, this dock has in my opinion been designed for people who have the same audiophile dream in mind but need an affordable speaker for a casual setup in one of their bedrooms/kitchen etc.

Let me start with that I have honestly not gotten a chance to listen to the Zeppelin from B&W and the other $500-$1000 docks out there, so I can’t compare them to this unit. But I did try a few in the slightly lower up-to-$300 price range, eg. the Sony RDP-X500IP that originally sold for $300, and to me it had very disappointing high frequency response (muffled treble range, to put it mildly, while impressing with somewhat of a base response in the store that sounded a bit unnatural after a few minutes at home) and some other characteristics I won’t go into. The Sony is worth it’s current price for sure, but if you’re actually focusing on how…
