Review : Best way to geotag photos on a D7000!

Wow, I took a gamble when I bought this and a GPS logger with Bluetooth capability (the QSTARZ BT-Q1000XT), but the end result has been so amazing for me that I don’t think there could be a better GPS solution for a Nikon camera with a compatible GPS connector.

I just had to plug this unit in, turn on the Bluetooth capabilities in my GPS logger and boom, I could geotag all my pictures! No cords to mess with and no extra units taking up the camera’s hotshoe. Unfortunately, once it’s in place, the camera gains an unusual bump on the side that won’t allow it to remain flush on a surface, but it’s a small setback for the gain. Another great bonus is that you can upgrade the GPS capabilities in your camera by simply buying a better GPS unit with bluetooth capabilities, so if you’re not getting good results, you can upgrade to any BT capable GPS unit out there!

There’s not much else to say about it. It works exactly as advertised, what else could one want?
